My kids always dreamed up the wildest birthday cakes, and I did my best to bring their ideas to life—having just as much fun as they did along the way. Together, we created a Ssssnake Cake, a UFO Cake, a Flower Power Cake, a Ta-daa Cake, and even a Poop Cake—which turned out to be a huge hit at parties! They wanted to bake all the time, and their friends loved our cakes. That’s when the idea popped into my head like confetti from a party cannon: what if we turned our creations into a book so families everywhere could join the fun?
